SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA is similar to basal cell carcinoma and found predominantly on sun-exposed light-skinned individuals. Squamous cell carcinoma appears as a pink-red lump or scaly patch. Although it has a slight tendency to spread, it is generally easily treated if detected early. MALIGNANT MELANOMA is the most serious form of skin cancer and can spread throughout the body.
